Charles Aubrey is currently an Executive Coach and Consultant at AubreyPartners. He is a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He recently retired as Vice President, Quality & Performance Excellence at Fortune 500 company AmerisourceBergen Corporation which won the Baldrige Award in 2012. He held similar positions at four other Fortune 500 companies. Charles worked as Vice President Consulting for ten years with Dr. Juran at the Juran Institute. He helped draft the original Baldrige Criteria and served as a Senior Examiner for the Baldrige Program for four years. He specializes in Leadership & Strategic Planning, Customer & Employee Measurement, Lean & Six Sigma, Process Management & Benchmarking and Performance Excellence.

He has written two books, Quality Management in Services and Teamwork-Involving Employees in Quality and Productivity. He has also written chapters in seven other books, most notably in Dr. Juran’s Quality Management Handbook. His books have been published in Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Chinese and Indonesian. He has published over 150 articles and papers.

Shady Baher El-Safty

Shady El Safty is Executive Director for ASQ Quality Management Division (QMD) at Middle East as well as Regional Quality Manager for General Motors North Africa.

Shady has a bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering and Master Degree in Business Administration. Moreover, he is Certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt from Arizona State University (USA-2012), Shainin Red X Master (Brazil-2007), and Certified Lean Manufacturing Coach from Sungkynkwan University (South Korea-2010).

His research is focused on continuous improvement process, Quality Culture, Six Sigma, and Lean transformation. He had published several manuscripts in refereed journals and conferences. In 2013, he published his book “Critical Success Factors of Six Sigma in Automotive Industry.”

In 2014, he had received “The Quality Champion Award” from Asian Confederation of Business at Dubai. In 2012, he had been selected by Society of Automotive Engineering (SAE) as the recipient of “Young Industry Leadership Award” for his extraordinary leadership skills and significance role in serving the community.

Harnek Singh

He retired as Vice President & Director, Business Excellence, ST Engineering Ltd in October 2016  where he was responsible for sustaining relevancy of Business Excellence and various Management System Standards within ST Engineering Group, and Chairs the National Quality & Core Processes Technical Committee and is member of Management System Standards Committee, Singapore Standard’s Council, He Chairs both Nanyang Institute of Management’s Academic and Examinations Board

Harnek is a Singapore Business Excellence Initiative Lead Assessor, a Baldrige trained & Global Performance Excellence Award Examiner, has led many Singapore Quality Award , Singapore Quality Class and BE Niche Awards (Service Excellence, Innovation Excellence, People Excellence ) and certifications assessments. He has also been involved as an International Assessor and in training National BE Assessors and BE Consultants in Singapore, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Fiji, Philippines, Iran, Pakistan and is a technical expert for Asia Productivity Organisation in Business Excellence. He is a member of Singapore Productivity Association’s management committee, and Chairs, the Judging Panel for the Singapore PS21 Public Sector Service Awards, Public Service (PS21) Service Excellence Awards Committee, and  is an Associate Academician, International Academy for Quality.

While as a management representative he facilitated ST Engineering Group’s attainment of the Singapore Quality Award in 2002, Singapore Innovation Excellence Award in 2003, IAPQA 2005, the inaugural Singapore Quality Award with Special Commendation in 2007, ASEAN Business Award (Innovation) Finalist 2009, and the APQO Global Performance Excellence Award (World Class) 2011. Harnek is first recipient of the inaugural Singapore Business Excellence Initiative’s ” Gold Jacket ” in 2015 and was amongst the 50 Sikhs featured in the SG50 Sikhs and their contributions in Singapore and recognized by the Prime Minster in 2015 as part of the 50 years of independence celebrations.. Harnek was elected President, Asia Pacific Quality Organisation in November 2015.

Arvie Mercado is the Sr. Director – IT Global Service Desk of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, a global leader in business travel, meetings and events – serving clients in nearly 150 countries.

Being a strategic IT executive and champion for change, Arvie has helped various clients and companies with his combined 10 years of experience in ITSM captive and outsourced environment. With his in-depth knowledge and expertise on IT Service Management build up, on different locations and languages, he has driven practical solutions that engage executive management and diverse teams at all levels of the organization.

Arvie was a college scholar and his thirst for knowledge continued during his career life. He has finished his ITIL Certification, Six Sigma, and has taken Kepner Tregoe: Problem Solving Decision Making.

In addition to being a people manager and visionary leader, Arvie is also active in socio-civic activities, promoting a positive community in their neighborhood. During his spare time, he is an adventurous backpacker who merely loves to travel and explore.

Jay Bray Z. Cabaña

Jay is currently the Customer Intelligence Practice Lead in SAS Institute, Philippines. Prior to joining SAS, Jay was the Head for Technology and Operations for Ayala Rewards Circle (ARC), the country’s first and only multi-industry appreciation program designed for Ayala group’s most valued clients. As part of being a core member of ARC’s management team, he is responsible for leading the organization’s strategy and support for Information Technology, Data Security and Management; Analytics, and Customer Experience Management for both traditional and digital channels.

With a strong strategic orientation, Jay was able to provide a holistic solution approach to different funtional problems within different organizations. A strong proponent of data driven approaches, customer loyalty and customer experience management thru the maximization and proper utilization of data and technology.

Jay is currently finishing his MBA degree at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business in Rockwell.

Ming Dong is one of only a handful of practitioners across the Asia Pacific Region to be a Certified Trainer for Minitab’s flagship product, Minitab Statistical Software.

Ming’s formal qualifications include an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering Management, a Masters of Computer Science from the University of New South Wales, and a Masters of Applied Statistics from Macquarie University. Ming has a unique and profound understanding of the application of statistics in the business world.

In addition, Ming has broad business development experience, developed through his work in senior technical roles for large organisations such as Toshiba and OzEmail. As a university research officer at Macquarie University, he had several papers published in the field of Bioinformatics.

Dr. Joel Lonzanida

Joel Lonzanida had vast work experience across the manufacturing and business process outsourcing sectors mostly focusing on key thrusts related to ISO Quality Management, Process Management, Lean, Six Sigma, and Innovation. He is currently the Business Excellence Lead (Master Black Belt) in one of the business towers in Accenture and prior to joining this company, he have previous stints from other companies such as being the Vice President/Site Lead/Master Black Belt of Operational Excellence at Bank of America Continuum Philippines, Senior Manager/Site Lead/Master Black Belt at Xerox, Business Process Improvement Site Lead at Dell, among others

He is certified in various disciplines such as ISO 9001 (ISO Quality Auditor, Philippine Quality Award (Assessor), Lean (Lean Master), Six Sigma (Master Black Belt), and TRIZ Innovation. He is also a trained practitioner in Six Thinking Hats Innovation and Design Thinking

Alistair Tan is an Analytics and Insight Solution Executive from SAP Southeast Asia (SEA). An Early Talent from the SAP Global Sales Academy, Alistair is responsible for supporting the Analytics & Insight Solution team in SEA, where he drives conversations with customers to understand their business challenges and offer solutions that help organisations harness the power of data.

Passionate about enabling sustainable social and business outcomes, Alistair is also actively involved in supporting SAP SEA’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives. One such programme is the ASEAN Data Science Explorer, a regional data analytics competition jointly organised between the ASEAN Foundation and SAP, to give ASEAN youths a voice, understand the challenges of the 10-member states and take part in leading social transformation within the ASEAN bloc. Ray is a Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, Tenured Philippine Quality Award (PQA) Assessor and Certified Process Professional. He is primarily focused on Process Simplification, Leadership Development, Metrics Creation and Performance Measurement using the PQA Framework. Currently, Ray is Process Excellence Manager for Google.
